Here is my prototype of the "No Bait" deer feed decoy. The white cap is a 1/2 ounce bottle of apple scent.

I made this from a sheet of styrene, that was a flourescent light diffusor panel from HomeDepot.

I bought a trail camera from 'Wildgame Innovations' and decided to test the effectiveness of the decoy. I put the camera and decoy on a friends hunting property near Wolverine, Michigan on Tuesday, August 18th at 6:00pm.

Whether or not these deer came into the area because of the decoy could no doubt be argued, but they were obviously not detered by it.

These are the three different material prototypes. Styrene®, Polystyrene foam and Lucite®.

Below is a prototype made from Lucite® and is what the final version should resemble.
